The basic routine
The label directs two gummies per day, roughly 30 minutes before a meal, taken with water.
Avoid doubling up on biotin
If you already take a separate multivitamin or a dedicated hair/skin/nail supplement, check its label for biotin content too — it's easy to accidentally stack multiple high-dose biotin products.
Mind your lab schedule
This is the single most important safety note: high-dose biotin can interfere with thyroid and cardiac troponin lab tests. If you have blood work scheduled, mention your Gelagen use to your doctor or the testing facility ahead of time.
Keep expectations realistic
Because Gelagen is a multivitamin rather than a collagen product, don't expect topical-skincare-level results. See our realistic skin expectations article for more detail.
⚠ Know before you start
Before your first gummy: consult a doctor if you're pregnant, nursing, taking medication, or have a medical condition — particularly a thyroid condition, given the biotin interaction with thyroid testing.
